Dear Reader: Beauty in the Moment

As I prepare for bed, I notice the way the light fixtures hover over the kitchen island reminds me of being in a Nancy Meyers film. I’ve been blessed to see the beauty in every moment. Even now as I type this. I sit peacefully at my dining table while La Croix sparking water rest on a chic coaster next to a Taschen’s fashion designers A-Z book. Planted inches away stands a taper candle. Not lit, but this hour is beautiful. My heart overflowed with joy displays a test to the little things. Allowing myself to be present this date…right now is a gift.

Dear Reader,

How often do you sit in the action of waking up in the morning? You peek behind your blanket on an early Saturday. Noticing the sun graciously beaming through your bedroom window. Birds faintly chirp nearby. You wiggle your toes and fingers as you burry yourself deep under that quilted blanket. There is beauty there.
