Dear Reader: The Hint, Catch It

The game of catch began at midnight. When it comes to games I am very competitive. Although I am a champion, tonight I am willing to accept defeat. I made it easy for you. I rolled the ball in your court, purposefully dropped it so the point counted against me. Taking two steps forward, 6 feet of some sort, I threw it your way. You reach for the pass. Buttered fingers grounded the ball to the surface. At this point I should hand it to you, I thought to myself.

Dear Reader,

Some people won’t understand when you say something in an indirect way. Why do we find it difficult to let people know we aren’t interested? I challenge you to consider their feelings while being blunt about your own.
