There the three of us stood motionless in front of an air hockey table surrounded by village people cheering on the town hero as he defeated his opponent. My friend walks up to the challenger and places her hand. Welcomed by an uncertain laugh the game begins. I turned to my other friend with a smirk. Whispering in her ear “I think we’ve walked in on a tournament" Laughter filled her lungs passing through to me like wild fire. Foreman! she shouted in a whisper. Our friend had been drawn deep into the game. We turned to each other and laughed even more so because she was actually winning. Those glued to the table were surprised. Though she didn’t take home the winning trophy we crowned her Kween.
