Dear Reader: Romcom

Sometimes I walk through life as if it’s a romcom. Certain movements I make maybe done in slow motion causing the world around me to stop. I stare out of the window of a classic New York brownstone as autumn leaves fall from their place in the sky to dance along the city streets. I’d been up working on a novel I’d placed on pause. I’m then greeted with a kiss and fresh coffee from my person whom I call lover. The air is filled with the warm syrup and cozy Christmas Jazz. This scene from the romcom showcases my love for love and early mornings in Manhattan. I find myself dancing in the living room as lover prepares us breakfast. The sun beams brightly painting the chestnut floor. Cinders twirl in the background as lover cover soft melodies.

Dear Reader,

If you find yourself staring into the unknown. Slowly look over your shoulder face forward smile and float forward. Your Romcom has begun.
