Andrew Campbell July 30, 2017 Cecilia Niebla Andrew Campbell July 30, 2017 I'm an art teacher for elementary students. I'm mostly an oil painter but I like to create art with different mediums. I studied theater an dance. I'm currently writing my first poetry book in Spanish. God has blessed me beyond measures. “To be my own vogue means to persevere in this journey of embracing my flaws and beauty. I am learning how to love the complexity of who I am and not place my self-worth and identity in my external image. To be my own vogue goes beyond my fashion style, my talents and body image, it is all that comes from the heart, from the inner soul that I gladly give to others. For 17 years, i have been challenged to live with a chronic illness that affects mainly my facial muscles. At times, it does not matter how much I want to smile or laugh. If my muscles are fatigue, they rule over my heart desire to give a smile or laugh. However, this has led me to discover other ways to smile and make others know how much I enjoy their company. To be my own vogue is to inspire my students others in a world where our eyes see too much and our hearts feel so little.” — Cecilia Niebla
